I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Economics at Auburn University (Auburn, AL). In the world of economics, my fields of interest are time series econometrics, international finance and open macroeconomics. However, I have also done some work in microeconomics related projects. I am currently a graduate instructor and have been entrusted with a variety of economics courses since the fall of 2013.
I am also very much invested in the field of data science. I do data science with the R statistical language, which is the language I also use for econometrics. My usual data science projects involve exploratory analysis, data visualization, text mining, machine learning and other related tasks.
I originally come from Côte d’Ivoire, a beautiful country located in West Africa. I am also half Cameroonian. Cameroon is another wonderful country located in Central Africa. I was born and raised in Côte d’Ivoire, which makes French my primary language.
